| ABSTRACT : The bill seeks to upgrade the salary scale of a retiring government employee by one salary grade on the date of his/her retirement. The upgraded salary scale shall be the basis for the computation of the retirement benefits of the retiring employee. For an employee who opts to retire under existing laws, the one salary grade increase shall be deemed granted one year before retirement for purposes of service requirement only. | |

Abstract
The bill seeks to upgrade the salary scale of a retiring government employee by one salary grade on the date of his/her retirement. The upgraded salary scale shall be the basis for the computation of the retirement benefits of the retiring employee.
