ABSTRACT : There are many reported cases of heroic deeds performed by plain, ordinary citizens who consider it their duty, at the risk of life and limb, to help maintain peace and order. To give due recognition for these heroic deeds, the bill seeks to provide compensation to persons who are killed or injured while coming to the aid or rescue of a victim or trying to prevent the commission of a violent crime.

Abstract

There are many reported cases of heroic deeds performed by plain, ordinary citizens who consider it their duty, at the risk of life and limb, to help maintain peace and order.
