| ABSTRACT : At present, the development and promotion of tourism is confined only to the Department of Tourism. To fully develop the tourism potentials in the country, the bill seeks to create the position of Tourism Officer in every province, city, and municipality. The Tourism Officer shall monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different tourism development programs and activities in the local government unit. |

Abstract
At present, the development and promotion of tourism is confined only to the Department of Tourism. To fully develop the tourism potentials in the country, the bill seeks to create the position of Tourism Officer in every province, city, and municipality.
