ABSTRACT : It is disheartening to note that our war veterans receive a meager pension. With the continuing increase in the cost of living, most of them could hardly afford a decent and humane standard of living. This bill seeks to increase the present benefits of our Filipino World War veterans by increasing their monthly pension and at the same time provide them with medical assistance. It is hoped that the proposed benefits would help improve the quality of their lives. | |

Abstract
It is disheartening to note that our war veterans receive a meager pension. With the continuing increase in the cost of living, most of them could hardly afford a decent and humane standard of living. This bill seeks to increase the present benefits of our Filipino World War veterans by increasing their monthly pension and at the same time provide them with medical assistance. It is hoped that the proposed benefits would help improve the quality of their lives.'
