ABSTRACT : The Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary (PCGA) is an indispensable collaborator of the Philippine Coast Guard in promoting the safety of life and property at sea, safeguarding the marine environment and resources, and enforcing maritime laws. The bill seeks to establish the role and mandate of the PCGA, to define the administrative powers of its officers over the organization and to institute mechanisms for a democratic procedure of selecting officers and commanders. |
