SHORT TITLE : The Philippine Dental Act of 2004
ABSTRACT : "The Philippine Dental Act of 2004". The bill seeks to upgrade the total practice of the dentistry profession to keep pace with developments in the field and in allied disciplines, particularly the current focus on public health and safety which are also areas of concerns of the dentistry profession. The current practice of the dentistry profession is regulated by a 1965 legislation which the dentistry community deems not to have fully addressed the varied aspects of the practice of the profession.
