SHORT TITLE : Real Property Valuation Reform Act Of 2009
ABSTRACT : "Real Property Valuation Reform Act Of 2009." Seeks to remove confusion and provide reliable basis for the assessment of real property taxes, reduce costs of duplication through a single valuation base, and a single appraisal agency, and; establish an efficient and equitable utilization and allocation of land market in the Philippines that shall contribute to the country's economic growth, provide opportunities to the poor and encourage the optimal management and use of land resources.

REASONS : to give time for the Members to interpellate the sponsor.
REMARKS : On Jan. 19, 2010, the Body approved to consider the Explanatory Note of the Bill as the sponsorship remarks on the measure; terminated the period of sponsorship and debate; terminated the period of amendments and approved the same on Second Reading. On the same date, on motion of Rep. Cerilles, citing that he intends to interpellate the sponsor of the bill, the same was reconsidered. However, upon his discussion with the sponsor of the bill, the motion for reconsideration was withdrawn and subsequently, the bill was approved on Second Reading. At the later time, on motion of Rep. Velarde, the same was again reconsidered to give chance for other Members to interpellate the sponsor.

"Real Property Valuation Reform Act Of 2009."
