SHORT TITLE : Real Estate Service Act of the Philippines
ABSTRACT : "Real Estate Service Act of the Philippines". The real estate industry plays a vital role in the economic development of the country. A real estate transaction has a multiplier effect on the country's economy. The bill elevates the real estate service practice. i.e., real estate brokerage, appraisal and consultancy, to the category of a profession, thereby placing realty service practitioners under the jurisdiction of the Professional Regulatory Commission. It also provides for the integration of all realty service practitioners under one national organization.
