Abstract
To inculcate in the youth positive and upright values, this bill mandates the compulsory inclusion in the curriculum of all secondary schools, public and private, of a subject on local governance and the Local Government Code. Our nation would be assured of future local leaders who are knowledgeable of the basic tenets of local governance.
