ABSTRACT : The bill aims to legitimize the status of children born to unmarried couples below eighteen (18) years old who remain illegitimate even after their parents eventually enter into a contract of marriage, by amending certain provisions in the Family Code of the Philippines in order for said parents to avoid tedious, expensive and time consuming way of legitimizing these children.
