| FULL TITLE : AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8291, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS 'THE GOVERNMENT SERVICE INSURANCE SYSTEM ACT OF 1997' |
| ABSTRACT : Republic Act No. 8291 is hereby amended by: (1) inserting a new provision which automatically adjusts the benefits of member-benefici aries every five (5) years to accurately and realistically reflect the buying power of the Philippine peso and (2)delecting a phrase that provides extra remuneration to GSIS officials and employees who enjoy salaries comparable to those in the private sector. |

Abstract
