FULL TITLE : AN ACT CREATING THE OMNIBUS HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
SHORT TITLE : Omnibus Housing and Urban Development Act of 2004
ABSTRACT : "Omnibus Housing and Urban Development Act of 2004". The bill seeks to rationalize the housing program of the country to be able to reach out the broadest number of people, especially the needy and marginalized ones. Creates the Department of Housing and Urban Development which is tasked to formulate and implement a comprehensive national urban development strategy and a national shelter strategy and to coordinate in delivering urban infrastructure, services and housing.
