SHORT TITLE : “Plastic Bag Reduction Act”
ABSTRACT : “Plastic Bag Reduction Act”. The bill prohibits commercial establishments from a) providing their customers any plastic bag free of charge, b) the use of plastic bags thinner than 20 microns, and c) the use of styrofoam containers and plastic utensils. It also mandates commercial establishments to include the cost of the plastic bag, should the customer request for one, in the official receipt of the customer.
