SHORT TITLE : "Philippine VOIP Act of 2005."
ABSTRACT : "Philippine VOIP Act of 2005". The bill requires any person or entity seeking to provide VOIP (voice over internet protocol) services for the use of the public to register with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) prior to operation. It also directs the NTC to determine interconnection access rates.
