ABSTRACT : "Cellular Phone Subscribers Protection Act of 2005". The bill seeks the creation of a Subscribers' Protection Unit in the National Telecommunications Commission where subscribers can air and file their complaints. It also seeks a longer period of validity of SIM cards from two months to 12 months.
