FULL TITLE : AN ACT PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL BENEFITS TO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES WITH SALARY GRADE OF 22 AND BELOW AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES | |
ABSTRACT : "Government Employees Benefit Act of 2002." Employees of the national government, local government unit or government owned and or-controlled corporation, with a Salary Grade of Twenty-two (SG 22) and below, who rendered at least one year of continued service shall be entitled to the following: (a) The grant of twenty percent (20%) discount from all establishments relative to utilization of transportation services, hotels and similar lodging establishment, restaurants and recreation centers. Atwenty percent (20%) discount shall be granted in the purchase of medicines anywhere in the country; Provided, that private establishments may claim the cost as tax credit. (b) A minimum of twenty percent (20%) discount to admission fees charged by ttheaters, cinema houses and concert halls, circuses, carnivals and other similar places of culture, leisure and amusement; and (c) Free medical and dental services including hospitalization and medicine in government establishments and a privilege di | |
