ABSTRACT : Pursuant to the constitutional guarantee or freedom of expression, it is the policy of the State to promote, support and strengthen the development and growth of the entertainment industry. It is to be noted that 'pop, rock, or similar concerts" arenot exempt from the payment of the amusement tax. > Finally, we posit that the distinct global competitiveness of the Filipino worker lies in his great artistic talents. It is the divinely-endowe d artistry and creativity of Filipinos that can bringthe Republic to a new age of millenial competitive advantage.
