ABSTRACT : The ambiguous wordings of Section 99 of the Local Government Code has led to various interpretations on the subject provision and which in turn, has resulted in some cases of discord between local officials and the appointee of the Department of Education. To make the provisions crystal clear, this bill seeks to requires the concurrence of the local school board on the assignment of division superintendents, district supervisors, school principals and other school officials to a particular local government unit.

Abstract
