ABSTRACT : It has been noted that most pharmacies and drugstores refuse to grant the 20% discount for the purchase of medicines by the elderly as mandated under RA 7432. Some drugstores require a written authorization for purchases made by their representative. This bill seeks to impose stiffer penalties on pharmacies and drugstores which refuse to honor the senior citizen card issued by the government to senior citizens who wish to avail of the benefits and privileges granted under RA 7432. | |

Abstract
It has been noted that most pharmacies and drugstores refuse to grant the 20% discount for the purchase of medicines by the elderly as mandated under RA 7432.
