FULL TITLE : AN ACT PROHIBITING THE IMPOSITION OF DEATH PENALTY IN THE PHILIPPINES
SHORT TITLE : Prohibiting the Imposition of Death Penalty in the Philippines
ABSTRACT : The measure seeks to abolish the death penalty. It proposes to substitute the death penalty, in cases where it is the sole and mandatory penalty as provided in a special statute or in the Revised Penal code, with reclusion perpetua or life imprisonment as the case may be.
