ABSTRACT : "Shipbuilding and Ship Repair Industry Incentives Act of 2002". This proposed measure seeks to grant the following incentives to shipbuilding and ship repair yards: (1) Exemption from import duties and taxes; and (2) Exemption from the Value-Added Tax. Penalties for violation of this Act are likewise provided.
