SHORT TITLE : "Driving Under the Influence Act of 2005" | |
ABSTRACT : "Driving Under the Influence Act of 2005." The measure penalizes drivers found under the influence of alcohol or dangerours drugs with imprisonment of one year but not more than 2 years or a fine ranging from P20,000 to P80,000, or both. In addition, a 6-month suspension of the license shall be imposed for the 1st conviction, a 12-month suspension for the 2nd conviction and revocation of license and perpetual disqualification to hold a driver's license for the 3rd conviction. | |

Abstract
"Driving Under the Influence Act of 2005." The measure penalizes drivers found under the influence of alcohol or dangerours drugs with imprisonment of one year but not more than 2 years or a fine ranging from P20,000 to P80,000, or both.
