Abstract
While the Local Government Code provided for representation of the youth in every sanggunian from the barangay to the provincial levels, it omitted to include the elderly or senior citizens. Now numbering about 14.5 million, this bill provides for the appointment of a representative from the senior citizen sector in every sangguniang barangay, sangguniang bayan, sangguniang panlunsod and sangguniang panlalawigan.'
