| ABSTRACT : Barangay Officials Compensation Act of 2001". Barangay officials play a significant role in ensuring peace, order, harmony and camaraderie in the community. However, the government has not given them proper compensation for their invaluable contributions. This bill proposes to grant duly elected barangay officials a monthly compensation based on the internal revenue allotment of their respective barangays. | |
