| ABSTRACT : Teachers form the backbone of the nation's educational system. Efforts should be undertaken to uplift their welfare. The bill seeks to grant additional insurance benefits to all public school teachers over and above the insurance benefits they currently enjoy under the Government Service Insurance System. The proposal is designed to promtoe the morale of teachers, attract and encourage new graduates to enter the teaching profession and keep qualified teachers from living. | |

Abstract
