In pursuance of such policy, this Act prohibitis and restricts the use, manufacture, acquisition, sale and deployment of landmines. | |

Abstract
It is the policy of the State to adhere to the international policy of working for the PROHIBITION or ABOLITION of weapons of mass destruction including those with indiscriminatel y, devastating or excessively injurious effects on civilian population. In pursuance of such policy, this Act prohibitis and restricts the use, manufacture, acquisition, sale and deployment of landmines.
