ABSTRACT : The National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women (NCRFW) was created in 1975 primarily to prepate a national program for the International Women's Year observed in the same year. Its organization is manifestly ad hoc in nature. The bill seeks creation of the Philippine Commission on Women which will absorb the functions of the NCRFW, monitor the implementation of the laws on women, review and evaluate the extent to which women are integrated in all sectors of economic and social life. | |
