| ABSTRACT : In the past few years, there have been several incidents wherein barangay officials were unable to collect any insurance claim from the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) primarily because of the failure on the part of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) to remit contributions to the GSIS. The bill proposes to charge the DILG with the duty of consistently remitting premiums to the GSIS on behalf of barangay officials. | |

Abstract
