| ABSTRACT : Barangay Tanods play an important role in the maintenance of peace and order. Despite their important role, Tanods remain neglected. This measure seeks to professionalize the Barangay Tanod brigades by providing legal standards to enhance their functional efficiency. It proposes to grant hazard pay to Tanods corresponding to the nature of their functions and services. The bill further provides Tanods free legal assistance for criminal and civil cases which may be filed against them in the performance of their duties. | |

Abstract
Barangay Tanods play an important role in the maintenance of peace and order. Despite their important role, Tanods remain neglected.
