| ABSTRACT : "Convergence Policy Act of the Philippines 2001". The advent of internet technology, cable television and other forms of telecommunications have opened the avenue for greater knowledge, education, faster and more efficient transacting and so much more. We may see in the future the possibility of using a single device for various kinds of activities. The bill aims to propose a policy on convergence of the various technologies and means of communications and a long term strategic national plan for the country's communications program. |
