ABSTRACT : "Anti-Terrorism Act of 2004". The security of nations all over the world is gravely threatened by the rise in transnational crimes (TNC). TNCs are grave crimes with transnational dimension perpetrated by organized criminal groups across and within borders. The Philippines has not been spared from these criminal activities. The bill seeks to address the threat of terrorism and provide stiff penalties on persons or groups of persons convicted of terrorism. It also aims to strengthen and expand the organization and operations of the Philippine Center for Transnational Crimes. | |
