| ABSTRACT : The following provisions of RA 6942 (An Act Increasing the Insurance Benefits of Local Government Officials and Providing Funds Therefor) is sought to be amended: >1. Death benefits: P50,000.00 - for the punong barangay or a member of the sanggunian; P30,000.00 - member of the sangguniang barangay, secretary, treasurer or SK Chairman; 2. Burial benefits - P20,000.00. >The bill, likewise, provides for DISABILITY benefits, and for INJURIES resulting from accident. |
