ABSTRACT : Todate, there is no law fixing the total area in the country as forestlands. It is imperative that a specific area for forestlands be established otherwise lands previously considered as forests will gradually vanish. This bill establishes a 50% ratio between forest and non-forest lands in each geographical region. It provides for the establishment of boundaries in all provinces to determine where the forest begins and ends. It represents a concerted, organized and determined action to save and preserve our forests.

Abstract
