SHORT TITLE : NO Smoking and NOn-Use of Cellular Phone While Driving Act of 2004
ABSTRACT : "No Smoking and Non-Use of Cellular Phone While Driving Act of 2004". A growing number of drivers use their cell phones while driving, not taking into consideration the consequences it will bring not only to them but also to their passengers and to pedestrians. On the other hand, the dangers of smoking to health and safety need not be elaborated on. The bill seeks to prohibit all drivers of private and public motor or non-motor vehicles from smoking or using cellular phones while driving in order to protect and secure the safety of drivers, passengers and pedestrians.

Abstract

"No Smoking and Non-Use of Cellular Phone While Driving Act of 2004". A growing number of drivers use their cell phones while driving, not taking into consideration the consequences it will bring not only to them but also to their passengers and to pedestrians.
