| ABSTRACT : The bill seeks to require all foreign or imported theatrical films to be printed and subtitled in the Filipino national language before the movies can be allowed for distribution and/or exhibition in local theaters or movie houses. The passage of the bill will result in lower laboratory costs, such as processing and printing charges. Moreover, deaf persons or hearing-impaired individuals will benefit from this bill because they can now have equal access to theatrical or cinematographic entertainment. | |

Abstract
