SHORT TITLE : "Corporate Recovery and Liquidation Act"
ABSTRACT : "Corporate Recovery and Liquidation Act". The bill seeks to overhaul the bankruptcy and rehabilitation regime in the country with three (3) reform objectives: a) inject speed and efficiency in the resolution of rehabilitation and insolvency cases, b) adjust and balance the rights of creditors and debtors, and c) adhere to international standards and best practices.
