ABSTRACT : The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) and the labor arbiters play a vital role in the maintenance of industrial peace. The bill seeks to rationalize the composition and functions of the NLRC by granting the Chairman and members of the NLRC almost the same functions and duties as those of the Presiding Justice and Associate Justices of the Court of Appeals, respectively. It also places substantial parity in the structure, functions and duties of labor arbiters with those of Regional Trial Court judges. | |

Abstract
The National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) and the labor arbiters play a vital role in the maintenance of industrial peace. The bill seeks to rationalize the composition and functions of the NLRC by granting the Chairman and members of the NLRC almost the same functions and duties as those of the Presiding Justice and Associate Justices of the Court of Appeals, respectively. It also places substantial parity in the structure, functions and duties of labor arbiters with those of Regional Trial Court judges.'
