FULL TITLE : AN ACT PROVIDING GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES, THE RIGHT TO PEACEFUL CONCERTED ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO STRIKE AS A MEANS OF LAST RESORT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH LAW |
ABSTRACT : This law applies to all government employees in civil service, all branches, subdivisions, instrumentaliti es, and agencies of the Government including government-owne d and controlled corporations with original charters.> All government employees'organization shall have the right to engage in peaceful concerted activities for the purpose of collective negotiation or for their mutual benefit and for furtherance and protection of their interest. This right, consistent with the national interest, shall continue to be recognized and respected.> This bill is a carefully articulated statement of the people power principles that is rooted in the government's philosophy of good governance, organizationsl objective and history and traditions.
