SHORT TITLE : Maritime Administration Act of 2004 | |
ABSTRACT : "Maritime Administration Act of 2004". At present, the maritime administration functions of the government are spread over seven (7) departments. This structure has resulted in bureaucratic entanglement, functional overlaps and conflicting maritime laws and regulations. These, in turn, has stymied the private sector's dynamism and virtually hamstrung the maritime industry. The bill seeks to put an end to the fragmentation and overlapping of functions of the different government agencies. | |

Abstract
"Maritime Administration Act of 2004". At present, the maritime administration functions of the government are spread over seven (7) departments.
