SHORT TITLE : Philippine Center on Transnational Crime Act of 2004 |
ABSTRACT : "Philippine Center on Transnational Crime Act of 2004." This bill mandates the Center to formulate and implement a concerted program of action for the prevention of and control of, but not limited to, the following transnational crimes: trafficking of persons, money laundering, cyber crimes, fraud and counterfeiting currency, terrorism, smuggling, piracy, illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, and other crimes that have political, economic and socio-cultural impact on the security and stability of the country. |
