SHORT TITLE : The Re-Engineering Act of 2004 | |
ABSTRACT : "The Re-Engineering Act of 2004". The government bureucracy has become unwieldy and corruption-ridden. The bill proposes for a multi-year process of bureaucratic re-engineering to allow for thorough studies and consultation . Civil servants in agencies deemed non-vital shall be offered a attractive gratuity package. Employees of such agencies who wish to remain in government may be re-assigned to other surviving entities. On the other hand, agencies deemed important will have the option to undertake the gratuity package for not more than 20% of their employees. | |
