| ABSTRACT : In the ten (10) years since its formal establishment, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) has failed to become the mainstream youth organization as envisioned by the government. It remains unsuccessful in its role as the principal vehicle of the Filipino youth in fulfilling its sectoral goals. The bill provides for a new mechanism that will ensure the realization of true youth involvement. |

Abstract
In the ten (10) years since its formal establishment, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) has failed to become the mainstream youth organization as envisioned by the government. It remains unsuccessful in its role as the principal vehicle of the Filipino youth in fulfilling its sectoral goals. The bill provides for a new mechanism that will ensure the realization of true youth involvement.
