ABSTRACT : The bill seeks to strengthen voluntary arbitration by amending the following: a) the selection of Voluntary Arbitrators or panel of Voluntary Arbitrators; b) redefining the jurisdiction of the Voluntary arbitrators to hear cases of termination of workers, productivity schemes or wage distortions arising from legislated wage increases; c) meting out sanctions against erring arbitrators; d) determining the fees of the arbitrators; and e) providing subsidy for unions that cannot shoulder the fees of arbitrators. |

Abstract
