SHORT TITLE : Rationalizing the Imposition of Fines and Penalties for Crimes Committed
ABSTRACT : The bill seeks to adjust the penalties provided under the Revised Penal Code that are grossly disproportionate to the amount or value of the subject of the offense and those that are ridiculously light considering the gravity of the offense. It also seeks the repeal of the provision penalizing vagrancy and prostitution.
