ABSTRACT : "New Labor Code of the Philippines." Some of the salient features of the bill are: a) it declares labor only-contracting as unlawful; b) it more clearly defines the right of a regular employee to security of tenure; c) it distinguishes between temporary employment and employment without a definite period; and d) it aligns the right to strike with International Labor Organization standards. | |
