ABSTRACT : "Cloning Prohibition Act of 2001". Scientific information indicate that cloning, at this point, is not safe to use on humans and that the technique would violate important ethical obligations. The measure seeks to prohibit human cloning in the Philippines, even on an experimental basis. It also provides penalties for violations thereof.
