SHORT TITLE : Chemistry Law of 2004
ABSTRACT : "Chemistry Law of 2004." The bill updates the Chemistry Law (RA 754, June 18, 1952). Defines chemistry as "the study, analysis, modification and calculation of physicochemical and biochemical properties of matter including atomic, molecular and supra-molecular composition and structure, the changes it undergoes, energy involved and conditions it occur." Provides for the scope of the professional practice of chemistry, creates the Board, and prescribes its composition, powers and duties, and the qualifications of its members. Provides for the requirements for the board examination, issuance of certificated of registration and permits.
