ABSTRACT : The bill requires that an independent health and environmental assessment of the communities surrounding a mine site be conducted every 5 years from the start of mining operations until 10 years after its closure. An independent Assessment Fund shall be established for the purpose and deposited as a trust fund in a government depository bank. |

Abstract
