ABSTRACT : To deter illegal dental practitioners from rendering dental services, the bill proposes certain safety measures to ensure the well being of the public. It increases penalties imposed on persons who practice dentistry without a certificate of registration from a fine of PhP3,000 to PhP5,000 and imprisonment of 1-5 years to a fine of PhP50,000 to PhP200,000 and imprisonment of 10-20 years.

To deter illegal dental practitioners from rendering dental services, the bill proposes certain safety measures to ensure the well being of the public. It increases penalties imposed on persons who practice dentistry without a certificate of registration from a fine of PhP3,000 to PhP5,000 and imprisonment of 1-5 years to a fine of PhP50,000 to PhP200,000 and imprisonment of 10-20 years.'
