Abstract
The bill proposes to transfer the Board of Claims from the Department of Justice to the Commission on Human Rights. It further proposes the following amendments to RA 7309: a) expands the categories of claimants; b) increases the compensation ceiling; c) provides for safeguards against false claims.'
